Trauma Informed Psychotherapy for Adults and First Responders.

Seeking support is it’s own kind of strength‍ ‍

Hi, I’m Jayki

Most of the individuals I work with are reflective, high-functioning, and accustomed to carrying a lot, often without much space to process the impact that has had on them. They are navigating trauma, chronic stress, identity shifts, or nervous system overwhelm while continuing to show up for their families, careers, and responsibilities.

My clinical background includes working with trauma, first responders, veterans, and adults navigating stress, anxiety, grief, and major life transitions. For the past two years, I have served as an embedded clinician with local law enforcement and EMS agencies while working closely with fire service personnel, dispatchers, and detention staff. This experience has given me firsthand insight into the unique cultures of first responder work, as well as the realities of operational stress, cumulative trauma, and the challenges of balancing caring for others while often neglecting yourself.

I show up in my work as grounded and direct, while also leaving space for curiosity and reflection. I value honesty, pacing, and helping people make sense of their internal experience. I empower my clients to set their own pace, and I don’t push people beyond what they’re ready for. At the same time, I’m not afraid to gently challenge patterns that may no longer be serving you.

Outside of the therapy room, I value depth, growth, and authenticity in my own life. The perspective I bring to this work is not only professional, but also informed by my own lived experience. I’ve been in therapy for many years myself, and I understand the value of having a consistent, objective space to be heard and supported.

My Therapeutic approach

Psychotherapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and individualized. I draw from a range of evidence-based and integrative approaches, including:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Person-centered and somatic approaches

  • Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy (preparation and integration)

Therapy is about creating the conditions for insight, regulation, and meaningful change to emerge at a pace that feels sustainable.

“Healing doesn’t happen through pressure.
It happens through safety, awareness, and trust.”
